World memory
Why fictional worlds need memory, not more generation
The hard part is not producing another idea. It is remembering what your world already decided.
Worldbuilders rarely run out of ideas. The harder problem arrives later, when a name changes, a promise disappears into an old chat, or two histories quietly stop agreeing.
A general AI conversation can help in the moment, but a fictional world needs memory that persists. That memory must separate established knowledge from possibilities and preserve where each detail came from.
Flicker is being built around that job. You talk naturally, review what should enter the Library, and keep creator control over what becomes established. Later, Flicker can recall those details with evidence and help develop what comes next.
